Petroleum Incident in Fields Landing
A new hazardous materials incident involving petroleum has been reported to the California Office of Emergency Services.
According to a report published by the office, the incident took place at or near waterways in Fields Landing at around 4:07 p.m. today.
Here’s the description of the incident that was recorded by the Office of Emergency Services:
Caller states that he saw "oil and pollutants" in the water.
This was the first hazardous materials incident recorded by the Office of Emergency Services in the Fields Landing area this year and the 31st petroleum spill in the county overall.
