Incident in Trinidad

A new hazardous materials incident has been reported to the California Office of Emergency Services.

According to a report published by the office, the incident took place at or near a ship/harbor/port in Trinidad at around 10:50 a.m. today.

Here’s the description of the incident that was recorded by the Office of Emergency Services:

Caller states that there is a iridescent orange sheen near the boat launch of Trinidad Harbor. Caller states that it is approximately 30ft x 30ft in size and about 20ft off shore.

This was the fifth hazardous materials incident recorded by the Office of Emergency Services in the Trinidad area this year.
