Incident in Rio Dell
A new hazardous materials incident has been reported to the California Office of Emergency Services.
According to a report published by the office, the incident took place at or near waterways in Rio Dell at around 6:25 a.m. today.
Here’s the description of the incident that was recorded by the Office of Emergency Services:
RP received a call from Humboldt County Department of Public Health that there was "toxic run-off" at the below address. Illegal logging.
This was the second hazardous materials incident recorded by the Office of Emergency Services in the Rio Dell area this year.
