Petroleum Incident in Garberville
A new hazardous materials incident involving petroleum has been reported to the California Office of Emergency Services.
According to a report published by the office, the incident took place at or near merchant/business in Garberville at around 8 a.m. on Tuesday, July 27.
Here’s the description of the incident that was recorded by the Office of Emergency Services:
RP states a neighbor is storing machinery incorrectly and the machinery is causing a spill of oil and gasoline onto the ground. Spilling onto a carpet.
This was the second hazardous materials incident recorded by the Office of Emergency Services in the Garberville area this year and the 34th petroleum spill in the county overall.
