Incident in Unincorporated County Area Humboldt

A new hazardous materials incident has been reported to the California Office of Emergency Services.

According to a report published by the office, the incident took place at or near a road in Unincorporated county area Humboldt at around 2 p.m. yesterday.

Here’s the description of the incident that was recorded by the Office of Emergency Services:

Per caller, a recycling truck overturned releasing bottles and cans and cardboard (mixed recycling) onto the side of the road. All materials collected. No fluids were released. Fluids are currently being drained from the truck to avoid any fluid release. No waterways impacted. Will call back with update.

This was the third hazardous materials incident recorded by the Office of Emergency Services in the Unincorporated county area Humboldt area this year.
