Incident in McKinleyville

A new hazardous materials incident has been reported to the California Office of Emergency Services.

According to a report published by the office, the incident took place at or near a residence in McKinleyville at around 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10.

Here’s the description of the incident that was recorded by the Office of Emergency Services:

Per NRC Report: "The caller stated that an individual is dumping an unknown invisible material over the caller's fence. According to the caller the individual has been doing this for years. The caller suspects that the individual is doing to harm them."

This was the fifth hazardous materials incident recorded by the Office of Emergency Services in the McKinleyville area this year.
