Petroleum Incident in Bridgeville
A new hazardous materials incident involving petroleum has been reported to the California Office of Emergency Services.
According to a report published by the office, the incident took place at or near a road in Bridgeville at around 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11.
Here’s the description of the incident that was recorded by the Office of Emergency Services:
Per the reporting party: A contractor vehicle rolled over and is leaking an unknown amount of an unknown oil product onto road base and asphalt. This release has been stopped and contained and was cleaned up by CalTrans. No waterways were impacted.
This was the second hazardous materials incident recorded by the Office of Emergency Services in the Bridgeville area this year and the 41st petroleum spill in the county overall.
