medical assistant! You’ll become an important part of our community medical
team, helping patients and doctors provide care, all while gaining new skills
in an inspiring professional journey. From helping the medical provider prepare
for the day’s visits, to checking patients’ vital signs and listening to and
documenting patients concerns, Medical Assistants contribute to patient care
and the overall clinic environment. MAs assist providers in the exam room,
implement treatment and care orders and provide follow-up activities, including
patient education, conversations and communication. Attention to detail,
cleanliness and organization is needed, the Medical Assistant is responsible
for keeping medical areas prepared at all times. The Medical Assistant needs to
possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to exercise sound and
responsible judgments in high stress situations. Basic computer skills needed.
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program and/or
eligibility for certification as a Medical Assistant (including CPR,
venipuncture/dermal stick and injection). Experience in clinic settings is a
plus.
Our medical assistant hourly wage ranges are listed below.
All new hires will start at the base wage for the position. MA certification
and other requirements may be required to be hired at a higher step on our MA
ladder.
MA Trainee - $24.00 to $27.87
MA I - $27.00 to $31.35
MA II - $28.50 to $33.10
