Park Maintenance Worker (Full-Time)

Description of Role: Typical duties include but are not limited to: Landscape maintenance, playground maintenance, baseball diamond maintenance, indoor and outdoor facility maintenance, collection of trash, inspection of equipment, maintenance of sporting equipment, completion of all required forms, and other related duties where assigned.
Hours: This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. Schedule will be Tuesday through Saturday.
Salary: ** $20.45-$26.10 per hour plus District benefits. (**as of July 1st $21.25-$29.08)
Qualifications:
• Knowledge, training, and/or experience in facility and/or landscape maintenance and janitorial services.
• Operating knowledge of parks & facility maintenance equipment and supplies.
• General knowledge and skills in landscape maintenance.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within six months of employment.
• Ability to obtain current fingerprint identification and negative criminal history results from the Department of Justice upon employment.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Driving record which meets MCSD insurance requirements.
