Base salary to increase by 3% in 2026.

Successful candidates may be hired at any step in the salary range, depending on experience. Applicants who hold POST Professional Certifications will be eligible for certification pay as follows:

POST Intermediate: 7% of Basic Salary

POST Advanced: 14% of Basic Salary

This sworn officer position is a permanent appointment to the specialty assignment of School Resource Officer. Under general supervision, this assignment is responsible for providing safety and security at school campuses, handling incidents and investigations and providing expertise on juvenile justice matters. Provides information and assistance to school administrators, employees, parents and students; performs related work as assigned.
