RCRC is seeking a compassionate, experienced leader to serve as its next Executive Director to oversee services and supports for nearly 5,000 individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities across Mendocino, Lake, Humboldt, and Del Norte counties. The Executive Director may be based in Ukiah or Eureka.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide strategic and operational leadership through five departmental directors.
• Advise and support the Board of Directors in setting and implementing policies.
• Maintain strong relationships with state agencies, partner organizations, and community stakeholders.
• Ensure high-quality, person-centered services across a large rural region.
Qualifications
• Minimum 10 years of experience in social services or a related field, including 5 years in executive management.
• Master’s degree in Business, Public or Healthcare Administration, Human Services, Education, or related field (PhD preferred).
• Experience with developmental disabilities services and knowledge of the Lanterman Act strongly desired.
• Extensive travel required across the four-county service area.
