Redwood Transportation (RT) is a local transportation service provider looking to fill transporter/driver positions to staff our new office in Eureka. Payrate starts at $21 per hour (guaranteed increase: $22 per hour after 90 days of successful service). Full Time/Part Time positions available.
Our drivers are part of a unique team of operators, dispatchers, and support staff who transport people in the community using company provided vehicles. Each driver is provided extensive training in a variety of areas to better serve our diverse clientele. Having a background in taxi driving or transporting people is a big plus. Qualified drivers should also have a good grasp of the English language. Hiring preference for bi-lingual individuals, especially those who speak Spanish. Please be sure to list any languages you may speak fluently. We provide an in-house training program for all new team members.
Drivers do not require special licensing to operate RT vehicles.
Driver Trainings are all provided in-house.
Driver Qualifications:
- Must be at least 23 years of age or older.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must have a clean criminal record OR no convictions within the last 5 years.
- Must be able to pass a 5 panel drug test including alcohol screening.
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
- Must have a CDL. Other state licenses may be temporarily accepted.
- Must have a basic understanding of computers and mobile devices and apps.
