Express has an immediate opening for a Staff Accountant! A well established local firm with excellent support systems needs a Staff Accountant to join their team right away! In addition to tax prep, this firm holds several contracts for public auditing. The firm has a strong foundation and never lacks work. This is a great opportunity for an experienced CPA or someone with less experience but on that track and it will provide opportunities to work toward partnership!

Key Traits

• Four year degree in Business/Accounting/Finance
• Experience with public accounting and auditing
• Ability to work with a team
• Ability to work more than 40 hours per week much of the year

Key Responsibilities

• Tax preparation
• Public Auditing
• Preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financials as assigned

Compensation

Pay for this position will range from $21.50/hr to $29.00 per hour, depending on the candidate’s stage in the CPA licensure process. In addition, this company offers an excellent benefits package.

Schedule

This is a full time Monday through Friday position that will involve significant amounts of overtime year round. During the summer, the team typically works 4 x 10 hour days and closes on Fridays.
