The principal function of an employee in this class is to perform a variety of chemical, physical,
biological, and bacteriological analysis involved in the testing of City water and wastewater quality.
Assists in performing routine to complex laboratory tests to ensure that City water and wastewater
treatment plants are in compliance with all Federal and State requirements. Equivalent to an
Associates degree in Chemistry, Biology, Natural Sciences or a related field, and 2 years of
experience performing lab analysis of water, wastewater, or industrial products is qualifying. For a
