Teacher Qualifications
The person selected for this position must have successfully completed the 12 core ECE units. Prefer to have at least one year experience as a teacher in a licensed child care facility. In addition, this person must complete the necessary background check, fingerprints, proof of immunizations and a medical exam including TB testing. Personal qualifications for this position include the ability to interact and work successfully with children, parents, and staff.
Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Director the teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing a program to teach young children. Must ensure the development and safety of these children in accordance with state and municipal legislation and policies. Must be respectful of children and parents, and ensure that equipment and facilities are clean, safe and well maintained.
