Qualifications
● Meet state licensing requirements including background check, ability to work for a
licensed cannabis operation, at least 21 years old
● Minimum of 3 years experience operating a cannabis nursery
● Bachelor’s degree preferred in Agriculture, Horticulture, or other related field
● Experience managing staff
● Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends
● Ability to adjust and adapt based on changing regulations and market trends
● Ability to work with a diverse group of people
● Ability to use a computer to enter data and communicate via email
● Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds
● Ability to visually observe plants for signs of insects, mold, and other problems

Primary Responsibilities and Job Functions:
● Manage licensed cannabis nursery in order to create cannabis plants for sale to
distributors, licensed cultivators, and retailers as permitted by California state
regulations.
● Maintain a clean, sterile environment
● Determine and implement best methods of cloning and plant care
● Cultivate and maintain mother plants in a variety of strains to meet market demand and be able to produce approximately 25,000 clones per month
● Establish all standard operating procedures, nutrient and harvest schedules.
Responsible for ensuring the highest levels of plant health, potency, and production
● Develop strong genetics and phenotypes for the mothers and plants produced
● Identify and resolve any problems related to pests, weeds, diseases, and other
problems. Follow and adapt as needed Green Leaf Nurseries’ integrated pest
management plan.
● Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations including but not limited to
track-and-trace requirements, IPM, water usage, security protocols.
● Follow SOPs and protocols put in place by Green Leaf Nurseries.
● Supervise other nursery employees and contractors including scheduling shifts,
assigning duties, overseeing tasks and productivity, training, coaching & disciplining
● Work within the budget provided. Keep track of any expenses and revenue.
● Ensure that clones meet all state requirements for testing and meet Green Leaf
Nurseries’ standards for high quality clones
● Help Green Leaf Nurseries’ to sell clones and identify potential buyers including making clones as presentable as possible, ensuring clones are ready on a predetermined schedule, and showing potential buyers the available product.
● Allow only Green Leaf Nurseries’ employees and pre-approved visitors into the Nursery
● Work collaboratively with team members and contractors from other divisions of Green Leaf Nurseries and Sensi Valley.
Compensation
● Base salary of $55,000-$70,000 plus commissions based on clone production and sales.
