Royal Gold Potting Soil has been manufacturing premium Coco Fiber-based potting soils for over a decade in beautiful Humboldt County California. We are looking for dedicated & hard-working individuals to join our Production Team. As a leader in both the Hydroponic and Independent Garden Center industries, Royal Gold sets the standard for quality and consistency with our products and our customer service.

Production Team
employment type: seasonal/full-time
Entry-level, general labor positions available

Specific responsibilities of the job:
*Repetitively stack 50-65 pound bags
*Other duties as assigned

Primary Objectives: Manufacture and bag premium quality potting soil for nationwide distribution in a friendly, team environment while conforming to company safety standards.

Job Requirements: Applicants must be at least 18 years old and legally able to work in the state of California.

Education and Experience: Forklift experience, previous experience in a light industrial environment and high school diploma or GED preferred.

Physical Demands: Must be able to remain on one’s feet, without moving, during the workday. Must be able to lift 50-65 pounds repetitively throughout the day. The applicant must pass a pre-employment physical.

Work Environment: Must be able to work well with others. Must be able to work outdoors in the elements including rain. Must be able to work in an industrial manufacturing environment and in close proximity to heavy equipment and loud noise. Must be able to work with organic fertilizer.

Compensation: starting at $15 per hour
