Health Information Management Clerk – Full Time

ENTRY LEVEL POSITION: Performs clerical and computer tasks to support HIM functions under the direct supervision of the HIM Manager. Proficient computer, application, and software skills required. Will be responsible for acquiring and evaluating patient data, organizing digital and paper records, ensuring medical records are accurate, complete, and timely. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information. May also be responsible for recording electronic data for storage, retrieval, analysis, and reporting, and any other duties as assigned. The ability to work as part of a team, multi-task, self-start, and stay organized are all imperative. Two years of medical or other office experience preferred.
