As the Human Resource and Organizational Culture Coordinator you will be responsible for a variety of administrative, logistical, and customer service tasks that support the daily functions of the Human Resource and Organizational Culture initiatives. In this position you will carry out job duties with an emphasis on attention to detail, cultural humility, respect for sensitive information and confidentiality, and have an ability to complete tasks with minimal oversight and a high level of independence. In this role, you will prioritize dynamic workloads, provide excellent customer service, propose solutions, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively across the organization.
Essential functions of the position include providing support to the Chief of Staff (COS) and Director of Human Resources, Inclusion and People Development (DHRIPD), collaborate with staff and communicate with external partners and job candidates. You will assist in progressing organizational development, internal Diversity, Equity & Inclusion efforts as well as various Human Resource initiatives.
You are a professional with at least three years of experience working in an administrative capacity in an office environment that has provided the necessary knowledge, abilities, and skills. You are highly adaptable and flexible during times of rapid change. Along with being a detailed person you have the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
The essence of this position is the ability to support the Chief of Staff and Director of Human Resources, Inclusion and People Development in Human Resource and internal Organizational Culture initiatives. You will schedule meetings and logistics between the COS and DHRIPD and various staff members, taking notes and following up with next steps. You will serve as a liaison between the COS and/or Director and other key staff to ensure clear lines of communication, sharing of resources and information, and assisting with joint projects.
You will assist in planning, have oversight and make preparations for projects in relation to organizational culture initiatives and use appropriate tools and technology to assist and improve effectiveness. Proactively tracking upcoming needs and support of current and ongoing organizational development and culture projects will be an important element in this position. You will coordinate and actively participate in staff meetings, trainings and events. While a participant in meetings you will observe themes and needs, modeling emotional intelligence.
In support to the Director, HRIPD you will assist in planning, managing and preparing for HAF’s hiring process, using appropriate tools and technology to assist and improve effectiveness. This will be completed through coordinating and scheduling interviews and supporting the needs and process of hiring committees.
We are looking for someone to maintain and track and document various processes related to human resources and organization culture programs, suggesting creative solutions, providing necessary updates and anticipating next steps, including but not limited to: onboarding, orientation and exit interview documents and processes; annual Conflict of Interest Disclosures and Conflict of Interest Policy signature pages for staff members; bi-annual staff evaluations and annual updated job descriptions; Coordinating staff training and enrichment programs.
