Full-Time Position. Security officers are responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of SoHum Health employees, visitors, and associated property. Ability to stay levelheaded and respond quickly in stressful situations. Working knowledge of basic security techniques. Officer works 12-hour shifts, must be open to weekends and nights. A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Must obtain a valid security guard card in California within 3 months of employment. Previous security-related work experience preferred, not required. Must be 18 years of age and ability to pass a background check.

Security officers are tasked with patrolling areas owned and/or rented/leased by SHCHD, responding to safety and security threats, and establishing a security presence. Security officers must be alert, strong communicators, and be physically fit.

Officer works 12-hour shifts, 0700-1900 or 1900-0700 as necessary. Must be flexible in work schedule assignments, though regular shifts are normally assigned. Weekend and night work should be acceptable to all team members in Security.
