KEET-TV, the sole service PBS station in Eureka, California is seeking someone to fill the role of Chief Operator. This full-time position, which reports to the Director of Operations & Engineering, is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the scheduling and automation systems which provide our linear broadcast.

Qualifications required for this position include but are not limited to: a strong ability to focus on minor details; a basic understanding of how to use desktop computer systems; general knowledge of how to use email and word processing applications.

Knowledge of a broadcast television station’s operations is preferred but not required.

The starting pay rate for this position is $16.00 per hour. KEET offers a competitive benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, life insurance and a Roth IRA plan. There are 12 paid holidays as well as 10 days of annual leave.
