Come live and practice in a small rural clinic on the scenic Pacific coastline of California. This is an area of abundant beauty with giant redwood forests, amazing wildlife, beautiful beaches, rivers and creeks, fantastic hiking, and refreshingly light traffic. The people are friendly and the pace of life is more relaxed than the big cities.

Responsibilities include a variety of direct patient services including assessment, diagnosis, implementation of treatment, evaluation and monitoring the general patient management plan for clinic patients. The staff physician will be involved in continuous Quality Improvement practices and measures. You will also attend our Med Staff meetings once a month to help improve the care for our patients.

The Southern Humboldt Community Clinic is conveniently located in conjunction with Jerold Phelps Community Hospital, and together we offer a continuum of quality healthcare to our surrounding communities. By providing care in the skilled nursing facility, clinic, lab, radiology department, critical access hospital and emergency room, our physicians play a vital and rewarding role. The position is uniquely diverse, challenging and gratifying. Work Schedule: Weekdays (8-5)

Compensation: $230,000-$250,000 negotiable
