The role of Board Clerk is to support Southern Humboldt Community Healthcare District’s Governing Board members and their operations. This includes preparing meeting agendas and packets, and distributing them appropriately, compiling meeting minutes, and maintaining a working knowledge of Board regulations and procedures. Facilitates administrative duties of the Board according to Bylaws, the Brown Act, and Rosenburg’s Rules. Assists with planning board trainings, keeps the board informed of staff milestones, and facilitates communication between the board and staff. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and computer literacy. Minimum of 5 years secretarial experience or office management experience.
