1-year Anniversary of the Redwood Sky Walk’s Grand Opening
Sequoia Park Zoo will celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Redwood Sky Walk’s Grand Opening with a daylong festival of family fun on Saturday, June 11. Regular Zoo admission applies. Activities, include Redwood Sky Walk strolls narrated by redwood canopy experts, begin at 10 a.m. and will continue until 6 p.m. Zoo Director, Jim Campbell-Spickler, will present a tree-climbing demonstration at 1 p.m. and animal encounters and limited-edition postcards commemorating the one-year celebration of the Redwood Sky Walk will make the day extra special for all guests. Mark your calendar and make plans to come out and see why Eureka’s Redwood Sky Walk has been featured in more than 200 different travel features in the last twelve months, including Conde Nast Traveler, Lonely Planet, Sunset Magazine, the New York Times, the LA Times, MSN.com, Frommer’s, Outside Magazine and more.
