10th Annual Skateboard Fundraiser
10th Annual Skateboard Fundraiser with Humboldt Skatelab,
Opening reception 6-9pm (ARTS ALIVE).
Each skateboard is made as a donation by artists, and each board is $150. All sales generate funds for building complete skateboards and helmets, donated during the holidays to local youth in CASA, Boys and Girls Club, teen centers, local schools and other local youth that may not otherwise be able to afford a skateboard.
This fundraiser is in its Tenth Year!! And has donated over 400 skateboards to local youth.
4-9 pm, 2nd St is shut between E st. & F st. For skateboarding fun, thanks to Humboldt Skatepark Collective.
DJ ICKYMAC, coming all the way from Santa Fe NM, will be spinning and scratching and brings some serious turntablism.. 4-9 pm
LORD OF THE LEDGES, skate competition will be taking place as well, 4-9 pm. There will be multiple prizes, including a $100 grand prize!! BRING YOUR SKATEBOARD AND LETS HAVE FUN!
