The Cal Poly Humboldt Library & Office of the Provost invites faculty, staff, students, alumni, and the community to join us in celebrating creativity, scholarship, and research at the 11th Annual Authors Celebration on February 14, 2025 at 3pm, at the Authors Hall on the 2nd floor of the Library, just outside of the Library Fishbowl.

This event is a unique opportunity to honor the diverse and inspiring works created by members of the Cal Poly Humboldt community.

The Authors Celebration is a cherished tradition, reflecting Cal Poly Humboldt’s commitment to intellectual growth and innovation. Guests will enjoy an engaging program featuring guest speakers, acknowledgments of recent publications, trivia and prizes, delicious cakes and beverages, and an open mic session to share and celebrate together.

Submit Your Work to the Virtual Authors Hall
Are you a Cal Poly Humboldt faculty member, staff member, student, emeritus faculty, or alumnus?

Have you published a book, article, conference proceeding, musical composition, film, or other creative work?

We want to include your achievements in the Virtual Authors Hall!

The Virtual Authors Hall is a growing database of over 24,000 entries, providing a searchable collection of works by author, year, or keyword. Submitting your work ensures your contribution is recognized alongside the achievements of the Humboldt community.

Eligible works include:
-Books, book chapters, and articles
-Conference proceedings and special journal issues
-Poetry, musical compositions, and audio recordings
-Film/video recordings, theses, projects, and posters
-Art exhibition catalogs and more
