Joe Kurtz Memorial Pickleball Tour
Enjoy some friendly competition in the heart of Humboldt County on the pickleball courts at College of the Redwoods. This tournament is open to all skill levels, you will have the chance to enjoy some competitive matches while also meeting new people who share your love for pickleball. In your down time enjoy our amazing ocean beaches, redwood parks, and historic Old Town Eureka. They are just minutes away from our venue. So, grab your paddle, a lawn chair, and come join us for two days of tournament fun on the pickleball courts in Northern California!
Round Robin followed by single elimination brackets. Guaranteed 6 games played.
Games will be 11 points win by 2.
Cost: $45 per player ($35 HBPC Members) + $20 for each additional event.
Saturday Aug 10 - Men’s & Women’s Doubles
Sunday Aug 11-Mixed Double’s & 70+ Division
70 + Division is open to men, women & mixed doubles teams. Brackets will be determined by the number of entries. Age requirement you must be turning 70 in 2024 to join this division.
Deadline To Register August 1, 2024. Entries will be taken on a first come first serve basis.
Divisions will be combined if there are not enough entries in a division.
*T-shirts are included in your registration fees so please provide your size.
*All players must sign a waiver at the event check in before playing.
Games will start at 9:00a.m. Be at the court by 8:45a.m.
Light snacks and water will be provided.
Bring your own lawn chair.
