2016 Mushroom Fair

The Humboldt Bay Mycological Society invites you to the 37th annual Mushroom Fair, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016 at the Redwood Acres Home Economics building, 3750 Harris St, Eureka. Come and learn about as many as 350 local mushroom species! Educational displays will teach about mushroom edibility, toxicity, ecology, and other uses—like yarn dying! Bring in your mushrooms to identify, and bring home a cultivation kit, or this year’s unique T-shirt! Admission is $3.00 for adults and $1.50 for children ages 10 – 16. Children under 12 are free!
