21st Annual Perilous Plunge

Foot of F Street

The things we do for kids!

The 21st Annual Perilous Plunge will take place on April 16th, 2022. Gather your teams and join us for another wacky event to support the Redwood Discovery Museum! This year we are again inviting people from all over the globe to support hands on education for children by hosting a “hybrid” plunge event! Plungers may come in person to jump into the Bay, or submit a creative plunge video. This wonderful and wacky event brings out the joyful experience of dressing up and being silly. Last year’s virtual teams came up with brilliant and inspiring ways to plunge without getting cold.

Individuals and teams can sign up at www.discovery-museum.org to start fundraising today! Once you have registered, post your badge to your social media, email your link, or ask for donations in person (please stay safe and wear a mask). If plunging virtually, create a video or take a picture of yourself plunging and email it to director@discovery-museum.org no later than April 5th.

Video requirements: Please keep videos to no more than three minutes long and they must be submitted in a mp4 format. Photos are best submitted in a gif or jpeg. Please submit no more than one video and/or one photo per team.

Register:

Register as an individual or a team (of unlimited number) online at discovery-museum.org Plungers must be at least 18 years of age to register but all ages can participate in your video or image.

Collect:
