2nd Annual Eureka Thanksgiving Parade
Join Us for the 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Parade!
Hey all! It’s that wonderful time of year again—the 2nd Annual Eureka Thanksgiving Parade is just around the corner!
Last year, clients of Gaining Ground in Eureka crafted creative cardboard “floats” and hosted an informal parade through Old Town. This year, we’re excited to expand the celebration by inviting the greater disabled community to join us in making this an annual tradition—a chance to connect with old friends, meet new ones, and celebrate the holiday season together.
Parade Details:
When: Wednesday, November 27th
Where: Gather at 10:30 AM at the gazebo in Old Town
Parade Route: Starting at 11:00 AM, we’ll march up 2nd Street to C Street, continue down 3rd Street to G Street, and loop back up 2nd Street to the gazebo.
After the parade, we’ll be hosting a pizza party at the gazebo for all participants!
Important Notes for Attendees:
Please stay on the sidewalks and obey all traffic laws.
Have fun and enjoy the festive spirit!
We look forward to seeing you there—let’s make this parade a joyful holiday tradition for years to come!
