2nd Annual Shantyween! With Djs Nitey and Wooly Bully Bill
Bust out your best Halloween fit and put on your dancing shoes on Saturday, October 31 at the Swan Room in The Shanty! It’s the 2nd Annual Shantyween—an all-vinyl party and costume contest to cap off the spooky season. The needle drop at 10:00 PM doesn’t stop until they kick everybody out! Two of Humboldt’s most obsessive record freaks—DJ Nitey and Wooly Bully Bill—go head-to-head, digging into their most decrepit crypts to spin an all-spooky mix of eerie new wave anthems, monster novelty, graveyard punk, and rock n roll weirdness!
The costume contest kicks off at midnight with prizes that are to die for, including a REAL LIFE (alleged) HUMAN SKULL!!! Categories include Best Dressed, Least Dressed, Most Scary, and Most Funny!
