2nd Annual Trinity Celtic Games
Join Tangle Blue Saloon and The B.A.M.T. Coalition for Fun Times for the 2nd annual Trinity Celtic Games Saturday June 3rd at Lee Fong Park in beautiful Weaverville, CA. The Trinity Celtic Games is a day of fierce competition and fun in the style of Scottish Highland Games, so bring your picnic lunch, lawn chairs, sunscreen, and mosquito repellent and get ready to throw things! Admission fee covers entry into the Feats of Strength competition for your chance to take home the Celtic Warrior crown plus all-you-can-drink domestic pints from noon until 6pm. Show your tartan pride and save some dough by wearing your clan’s kilt, or come without and pay full price. Have a team? Great! Teams of 4 are encouraged. Going it alone? We’ve got your back, and will hook you up with other singles so no one is left out! A shotgun start 9 hole round of disc golf will kick things off at 9am, with athletic competition to follow. Events include a caber toss, tug-of-war, rock-put, and keg toss. Want to disc golf only? It’s free to play the round, but drinks are on you! All ages are welcome to attend, but you must be 21 or older to participate in the events. ID is required. Space is limited, so sign up early! Want to watch but don’t want to play? There will be a CASH ONLY (no ATM on site) bar with beer on tap and well drinks available for purchase at happy hour prices all day! The after party will be held at Tangle Blue Saloon and feature live music from Loose Arrow! Tangle Blue Saloon and B.A.M.T. encourage responsible drinking. Always have a designated driver and please do not drink and drive. Don’t have a DD? Callaway Cab will be available to take participants to their final destinations for the evening!
