In recognition of the dedicated work of zookeepers and aquarists, zoos and aquaria across the nation come together to celebrate National Zookeeper Week this year from July 21 to July 27. Come celebrate Zookeeper Week with us at Sequoia Park Zoo” said Amanda Auston of the Redwood Coast Chapter of the AAZK. “We will have extra keeper talks and special treats for the animals all week. Join us on Wednesday, July 24 at 1:00 for Redwood Coast AAZK’s 2nd annual Zookeeper Olympics! Watch the zoo staff as they compete for the gold in an obstacle course filled with keeper related activities!
