30th Annual Bridgefest

Bridgeville Elementary School

“Let the Alien and Human games begin!”

For at least one day each summer, the small town of Bridgeville becomes a gathering place for humans, aliens, and anyone else traveling along Highway 36.

The 30th BridgeFest returns on Saturday, Aug. 15, with the landing zone at the Bridgeville School grounds. A Big Day to celebrate 30 years of this quirky community tradition, mixing small-town festival charm with a cosmic sense of humor.

Expect the Flying Saucers Trials off the Old Bridge, an Alien Calling Contest, a Costume Contest & Parade, Crazy Kidz Zone, Local Live Music and Huge Raffle, Fire Department BBQ, Competitive Aliens, Famous Blueberry Pies and Arts and Crafts Vendor – plus more….with plenty of Laughs!

While BridgeFest theme is intergalactic, the purpose is firmly local. BridgeFest is the primary annual fundraiser for the Bridgeville Community Center, which provides programs and gathering space for residents throughout the rural 95526 region.

In a place where neighbors can live miles apart along winding Highway 36, the community center serves as an important hub for connection: whether it be day to day or at BridgeFest!

Come in costume! Research Alien calling! Bring your sense of humor and enjoy one of Humboldt County’s more unusual summer gatherings.

BridgeFest runs from 11 am to 5 pm on Sat. Aug. 15. Highway 36 and Bridgeville. Free parking is available for both UFOs and vehicles.
