40th Annual North Country Fair

Arcata Plaza

40th ANNIVERSARY NORTH COUNTRY FAIR - SEPTEMBER 21 & 22

The North Country Fair has been held on the Arcata Plaza in Arcata, CA every third full weekend in September since 1974. Including about 200 craft, food, and information booths, two parades, two stages, and a lawn performance area, the North Country Fair attracts an estimated 10,000 people from all over to celebrate our community, our world, and the changing of the seasons.

The Fair is a gathering of craftspeople, artisans, musicians, dancers and community groups to share their talents and wares; to celebrate the creativity of the human spirit and our diverse, creative community; and to encourage resilience, cooperation, creativity and respect for all life on earth.

In an effort to reduce our impact on the planet, the Fair has again teamed up with Zero Waste Humboldt to work toward a goal of zero waste. Look for ZWH volunteers around the Fair to help you sort your compost, recycling and trash.

The Same Old People invite you to celebrate the changing seasons in your community at the 40th Annual North Country Fair! Please join us on the Arcata Plaza, Saturday and Sunday, September 21 & 22 from 10am to 6pm.

No Dogs! Please leave your four-footed friends at home.
