A Christmas Carol
North Coast Repertory Theatre is proud to present its last production of the 2025 season: A Christmas Carol adapted from the Charles Dickens classic holiday tale.
Puppets, masks, and songs—oh my! Step into a world of wonder with this brand-new adaptation, lovingly created in memory of John Lynd, who once brought A Christmas Carol to life at Chino Community Theatre in the early 2000s. It was during that production that a young stage manager named Shawn Wagner got to really know John, sparking a beautiful friendship and mentorship that continued until John’s passing in 2020. Now, the magic comes full circle. When the chance arose to direct this reimagined production alongside her longtime friend and collaborator Isabel Semler, Shawn knew it was a dream too good to pass up. Together, Isabel and Shawn have crafted a theatrical experience filled with puppetry, masks, dance, music, and a whole lot of heart. This silly, soulful, and whimsical journey will enchant audiences of all ages and just when you think you know what’s coming, it surprises you. (And if you dress in your favorite holiday clothing, you’ll even get a free cookie!) Preshow starts 45 minutes before showtime!
