On the border between dream and reality, two strange characters lead us into a surreal universe inspired by silent cinema and the paintings of Rene’ Magritte.

The show is a physical theater exploration that uses dance, clowning, and movement to tell a story of hope and imagination. A man and a woman lead us into a silent movie world that borders between dream and reality. They use the language of movement and gesture slowly building a silent dialogue that pushes the boundaries of dance and theater.

Arcata Playhouse co-presents with Belgium‘s Teatro Pachuco and company GIOLISU, “A Knock at the Door” featuring Humboldt performer Rudi Galindo and Italian dancer/choreographer Lisa Da Boit.
