A Season of Light .::. Holiday Concert

Arkley Center For The Performing Arts

A luminous celebration of warmth, tradition and musical joy.

The Eureka Symphony’s holiday concert kicks off Humboldt County’s winter festivities in grand style.

Victor Hely-Hutchison’s Carol Symphony is a delightful tapestry of familiar carols, elegantly woven into a symphonic setting.
After intermission the spotlight belongs to the incomparable Claire Bent. She brings her signature versatility to a beautifully crafted Hanukkah medley and a set of holiday favorites, reimagined with charm, soul, groove and sophistication.

Tickets are $21 to $43, with RUSH tickets after 6:00 p.m. just $15, $10 with student ID. Cash only; best available seating.

Learn about the music and the composers during Musical Notes, from 6:30-7:00 p.m., just before the concert. This free pre-concert talk is hosted by Concertmaster Terrie Baune and pianist John Chernoff. Seating is open. Musical Notes is sponsored by Wayne & Carol Palmer.

For a look at the program in advance, attend Live & Local Concert Preview via Zoom on Monday, November 30, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Hosted by Elizabeth Morrison. Live & Local is an OLLI Special Interest Group sponsored by the Eureka Symphony, and is free to OLLI members.
