A Special Saturday At The Clarke
We’re excited to extend a warm Eureka welcome to international visitors arriving by cruise on Sunday, April 27th! As part of their day in our beautiful city, the Clarke Historical Museum has curated a truly special and immersive experience.
Museum Hours: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Guests will enjoy: Docents of Nealis Hall, Shirley Laos (Trinidad Rancheria/Yurok/Karuk/Chetco) and Bradley Marshal (Hupa) offering in-depth insights and cultural perspectives throughout the day, including:
A stunning dress made by Bradley Marshall that guests are invited to touch.
Visitors are welcome to try on and take photos with traditional necklaces and a Native cap from Shirley Laos’ personal collection.
Local Indigenous vendors, including Paula Gray, Marlette Grant-Jackson, Dames, George Blake, and Bradley Marshall.
This is a unique opportunity to experience the living history and vibrant culture of our region. We are honored to share these stories and traditions with our guests, and we know it will be a visit to remember.
Let’s show the world the heart of Eureka.
