A Voice From the Past Campfire Program

Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park

Join us for a special campfire program and discover the story of Harriet “Petey” Weaver, California State Parks’ first female ranger. Petey served in redwood parks throughout California, authoring many books and essays about the natural world. State Park Interpreter, Jean Rhyne brings Petey’s story to life, celebrating an important piece of State Park history.
