AAUW-H Honors Two Local Women

The Humboldt branch of American Association of University Women (AAUW) will celebrate Women’s History Month at its March 4 meeting by honoring two local residents making a difference in the county. Sue Leskiw (McKinleyville) has provided countless hours of volunteer support especially to local environmental organizations, and Mary Lou Lowry (Arcata) will be honored for her contributions through volunteer advocacy work with a host of nonprofits here.
