This special Afternoon of Dance performance features scenes from the Nutcracker with new works in classical, modern, and contemporary ballet. The Upper Studio presents the full length Nutcracker ballet at Van Duzer Theater December 20th and 21st. This professional level production brings Robert Dekkers, artistic director of Post Ballet in San Francisco, back to dance the role of Cavalier with a cast of over 60 local dancers. The Upper Studio is in its 5th year of training local dancers in pre- ballet through pre-professional levels.
