The Fortuna Concert Series presents soprano Annika Bäckström accompanied by pianist Shaunna Eberhard. Annika Bäckström, Doctor of Musical Arts in vocal performance, has a wide vocal repertoire from art songs and folk songs to concerts and operas. The evenings’ performance is entitled “SONGS OF THE WINDS OF THE NORTH” and is a selected presentation of Scandinavian solo vocal literature and other songs in honor of our ancestors, the old ones and those who have gone before us. Tickets are available at the door. Doors open at 6:45 pm.
