Annual Tansy Bash in Sinkyone Wilderness

Tansy Ragwort is an invasive plant that can be lethal to deer and elk populations. Help remove it from the coastal prairies of Sinkyone Wilderness State Park by joining Friends of the Lost Coast, Sanctuary Forest and North Coast Redwoods District of CA State Parks on Sunday, July 26 from 10a.m. to 2p.m. All are invited! Meet at 9:50a.m. at the Jones Beach Trailhead on Needle Rock Rd. Tools/gloves are provided. Email justin@lostcoast.org or anna@sanctuaryforest.org to RSVP. To reserve a volunteer camp spot, contact Michelle Forys at michelle.forys@parks.ca.gov.
