Apple Strudel Baking Contest
Humboldt Light Opera will be doing “The Sound of Music” the end of July, and one of our ‘favorite things’ is apple strudel! Amateur bakers can ‘ submit an apple strudel they made between 12 and 1 pm on July 11. Take it to the Holly Yashi store at 1300 9th Street Arcata. The strudels will be judged on appearance, flavor, and crust texture. Winners will be announced at 3 pm.
Win some tickets to The Sound of Music at Van Duzer theater.
