Arcata 4th of July Jubilee
The 4th of July Jubilee Festival on the Arcata Plaza begins at 10:30 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m.
Bring your blanket for the lawn, your dancing feet, appetite for tasty one-of-a-kind food delights (from oysters, to cake, to Indian tacos) and come celebrate in the Kid Zone, or at one of the over 60 unique arts and craft booths because this community festival is for everyone!
Going 59 years strong, the Arcata Chamber of Commerce invites you to participate in the longest running festival on the plaza – the 4th of July Jubilee!
This year’s event will take place on Monday, July 4, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
A nod to old-fashion fun, this gathering kicks off with a bubbles parade around the plaza, the national anthem, and then whirls into a day full of live music, roving performers, 60 craft vendors, 10 food vendors, two stages and a super duper Kids Zone.
The Jubilee has a mellow, feel-good atmosphere.
This community event is a fundraiser for the Arcata Chamber of Commerce which serves entrepreneurs, long-standing professionals, independent artists, hotels, restaurants, banks and beyond by keeping members inter-connected while supporting their individual aims.
Looking forward to celebrating freedom, art and prosperity for all!
Take Highway 101 to Samoa Blvd. turnoff. Take the turnoff to the West which goes over the freeway and on to Samoa Blvd. Turn right at the first stop light and drive a few blocks—begin to look for a parking space, as the Plaza is just a few blocks away.
