Arcata Arts Institute Presents Quietest Place

Arcata Arts Institute (AAI) is excited to announce two exhibits that will be up during Arts! Arcata Friday December 8th from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. AAI will have an exhibition titled Quietest Place at two locations. Quietest Place will be at both Redwood Yogurt (1573 G St, Arcata) and at Wildberries Marketplace (747 13th St, Arcata) in the sunroom. The exhibit will feature art created by our Visual Art and Media artists. Artists were asked to locate their own quietest place. Artists were encouraged to go on a walk to find this place and represent it somehow in their piece. There will also be live music performed by Arcata Arts Institute musicians during the opening at Redwood Yogurt Friday night from 6pm – 8pm. Both exhibitions will be up through January.
