Arcata Community Forest

The City of Arcata Recreation Division’s Challenge Course, located in the beautiful Arcata Community Forest, 500 E. 14th Street, is a fun-filled outdoor adventure focusing on team building, skill development and environmental education. Groups work together in challenge-by-choice physical activities to master the arts of strategy, leadership, communication, teamwork, goal setting and time pressures. Ideal for: Sports Teams, School Groups, Girl Scouts or Boy Scouts, Summer Camps, Family Gatherings, Small Businesses, Religious Groups, Management Retreats, Birthday Parties and Non-Profits! Open to ages four years and older, children must be accompanied by an adult. Expect this adventure to take about 3 hours. Fee: $40 per individual with a 10-person group minimum or $30 per individual for groups of 25 or more.
