Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary Bird Walk
Join Redwood Region Audubon Society for a free guided field trip at the Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary on Saturday, February 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Bring your binoculars and meet trip leader Dan Greaney at the end of South I Street (Klopp Lake) in Arcata for easy-to-walk trails, a beautiful view of Humboldt Bay, and a diverse range of overwintering birds, including ducks, shorebirds, herons, and egrets, raptors, and songbirds. Keep an eye out for otters and otter signs as they frequent the marsh ponds.
