Join Redwood Region Audubon Society leader Jude Power at the end of South I Street (Klopp Lake) in Arcata where many shorebird, waterbird, and terrestrial species will have settled in for the winter. Keep an ear out for the calls of dowitchers and yellowlegs, whose vocalizations can be almost crucial for identifying species. Bring your binoculars and have a great morning birding.
